Wallace “Woody” Gram, Esquire is a resident of Richmond, Virginia. He graduated with honors in political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Woody received his juris doctor from the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond, where he graduated cum laude. While attending law school, Woody was selected as a member of the University of Richmond Law Review based on his research and writing skills and the University of Richmond Moot Court Board based on his abilities in oral advocacy. He also served as the president of the Richmond chapter of Phi Delta Phi, a national legal honors society.
Woody attended law school with the goal of counseling people through overwhelming situations. While in law school Woody worked for the Federal Public Defender in Richmond, Virginia. At the Federal Public Defender, he defended clients against serious criminal charges, including drug possession, distribution, and driving under the influence. After law school, Woody had the honor of clerking with the Honorable F.G. Rockwell, III in the Chesterfield County Circuit Court. During his clerkship he was involved in family law and criminal law matters from start to finish. By working in the court, Woody learned how to maneuver through the complicated court system in a way that will help him serve his clients efficiently and practically.
As a member of the Virginia Bar, Woody uses his clerkship experience and research skills to navigate complex issues of criminal and family law. He is a relentless advocate and prides himself in preparation and results. Woody cares about each of his clients and values and respects the trust each client places in him.
During his free time, Woody enjoys fishing, traveling, and walking his dogs around the Fan neighborhood, where he currently resides.
